2017年越南国际建筑、建材及家居产品展VIETBUILD是越南建设部与越南各省市政府联合举办AFC展览公司承办的以建筑、建材、装饰产品及房地产为主的国际性博览会，是越南全国规模最大，影响力最强、国际化程度最高的博览会之一，也是东南亚地区最具吸引力的国际性博览会之一。每年春秋两季分别在河内、大囊和胡志明三地举办，胡志明市的秋季展是越南规模最大的建材展。该展每年一届，2016年将举办第十八届，历届都有来自新加坡、中国、德国、泰国、印度、韩国、法国、马来西亚、瑞士等多个国家和地区的许多著名企业参与。展出面积约 20,000 ㎡ ，5 天展会共吸引观众约420,000 人集合越南最优势建筑建材展览资源，专业展示推广中国建筑建材及家居用品产品 多场越南建筑建材推介及交流活动，促进参展企业的直接高效的了解越南市场需求

胡志明市将建设吉莱大桥等大型基础设施项目
越南《年轻人报在线》5月11日报道，越南政府副总理郑廷勇日前签署同意胡志明市投资建设跨越同奈河，连接胡志明市第二郡和同奈省仁泽新都市区的吉莱大桥，替代目前的吉莱渡轮。该桥全长4.5公里，桥面宽60米，双向8车道（6车道为机动车，2车道为混合通道）。投资建设芹约桥（can gio），跨越帅立河（roai rap），主桥和引桥共7.3公里，桥面宽40米（4条机动车道，2条混合车道）。建设50号国道并行道路，全长8.6公里，路面宽40米，6车道。上述三个项目将于2017年-2020年间投资建设。
胡志明旧称柴棍、西贡，5个中央直辖市之一、越南的经济中心、全国最大的港口和交通枢纽，面积2095平方千米，人口620万。位于湄公河三角洲的东北侧、南临南中国海。东南距海口80公里。西贡港，年吞吐量可达450-550万吨。铁路可通往河内及其他大、中城市，公路可通往全国各地，经公路或水路可通往柬埔寨和老挝。
